Senior/Lead Electrical Engineer (New York City)

The Client is a mid-sized full service union Electrical Contractor in the New York City area. They have been in business for over thirty years and perform work in the New York City area. They currently have a need for a Senior/Lead Electrical Engineer due to growth in the company.

The successful candidate must have over ten (10) years of experience in the Design of Electrical systems including lighting, power, fire alarm, communications and signal systems for new and/or major renovation projects. They should be experienced in the preparation of design calculations, development and preparation of construction drawings and specifications, review of shop drawings, preparation of cost estimates, and field investigations. They MUST have experience with water/wastewater and other infrastructure type projects.

A degree is required, preferred would be a Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering. In addition this individual must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated managerial skills; and the ability to lead (or the potential to lead) a design team and meet schedules/budgets; and the ability to interface with clients.

This candidate must also have familiarity with AutoCAD & 3D and MS Office.
