Project Electrical Engineer (Washington DC)

Minimum Requirements : Position requires a BS in Electrical Engineering with PE certification. Qualified candidate must have at least 15 years' experience in electrical design for facilities, medium and hign voltage design experience, and be proficient in AutoCADD. Position requires excellent leadership ability, good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Position also requires that the candidate be able to obtain a security clearance. Job Description : Qualified applicants must be able to design complete power and lighting systems, have knowledge of emergency power generation/UPS, and have experience with health care, military facilities, commercial buildings and Federal Government projects. Duties also include writing specifications and performing calculations. Will lead a project team and supervise others to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Position reports to the department head and/or project manager.
