Electrical General Manager (Atlanta)

The Client is a mid-sized full service Electrical Contractor with a branch office in the Atlanta, Georgia area. They are an established firm in business for over 30-years and have revenues in excess of $20M. They currently have a very high sense of urgency for a General Manager due to a recent company restructuring.

The successful candidate MUST have over ten years experience in the Electrical Contracting industry in the Atlanta market and MUST have prior experience in running the day-to-day operations of a branch office for an “at risk” Electrical Contractor. The experience should include the ability to manage operations, office staff and be responsible for the financial management including P&L reporting; cash management; and business management function to insure the overall profitability of the office. Average projects range in size from $1M to $5M and larger. A degree is Preferred.

Experience should include a mix of commercial, institutional, light industrial and government projects including offices; tenant fit-outs; renovations and new construction.

Experience with job cost tracking and cost codes are essential and required for consideration in this position. This individual will be involved in marketing; business development; purchasing; estimating; engineering and other responsibilities consistent with those of a General Manager of a branch office. Salary is commensurate with experience and they offer a very competitive compensation program including the opportunity for management incentive compensation.
